Independent Batteries Ltd was founded in 2000, the objective then was to supply high quality original equipment batteries to the UK aftermarket and provide a level of customer care unparalleled in the industry.

In 2001 we became the sole importer of Moura automotive batteries into the UK and Ireland enabling us to offer a world class product chosen as first supply to many of the worlds leading car manufacturers.
Since this time we have developed our business to become one of the leading players in the UK and Ireland aftermarket with a client base enviable to many of our competitors.
IBL operates from a bespoke warehouse located near to the port of Immingham in Lincolnshire ideally situated to receive deliveries from around the world.

We have one large warehouse which enables us to control stockholding ensuring maximum availability throughout the year, giving our customers the freshest stock and delivering through specialised logistics anywhere in the UK within 48 hours of receiving orders.
Battery range and services
Our battery range today includes car, commercial vehicle, agricultural, leisure, marine, motorcycle, golf and mobility batteries. We also offer a comprehensive scrap battery collection service to ensure that scrap batteries are being fully recycled and collected and transported within the current legal requirements.
